Hi, Two things to try in order.
1. Reset your PRAM. Shutdown your Mac, then when you restart it, either before or while the startup chime is sounding, hold down the command, option “r” and “p” keys simultaneously. The easiest way to accomplish this is to put your left thumb across the command and option keys, then use your regular finger positions, left pointer for the “r” and right pinky for the “p”. Continue holding all these keys down through three additional startup chime sounds then release. 2. Reset the SMC. Shutdown your MBP. Plug in the power adaptor. Hold down the left shift-ctrl-option keys at the same time as you press the power button, then release. Wait about 5 seconds then press the power button to start your MBP. 3. Take your MBP to an authorized Apple service provider. Doing things in this order will help to determine what the problem is if it is not resolved by either #1 or #2. HTH. Later...
