Hi, The best thing to do would be to modify the settings in VO Utility related to Visuals. So, get into the VO Utility with VO-f8, then either press cmd-7 or navigate to the Visuals item in the Categories table. In the VoiceOver Cursor pane, uncheck the “Show VoiceOver Cursor” item. This may do the trick but you may also need to turn off some of the other items such as the under the Caption pane, the Braille pane etc.
On a :) note, tell your husband to suck it up, you have to put up with being blind all day, he can deal with the annoyance of having to see a VO cursor once in a while ;). Later...
