Absolutely not! Band in a box takes just about every ounce of ram that mac system has, and yes, I have maxed the ram out in that thing. The last thing I need is to have other resources getting eaten from OSX on top of all else.

You said you have Bootcamp, but why not use something like VMWare Fusion to run Windows instead? This way, you can run Windows, and the software you need in there, while still booted into Mac OS X. I don't know how testing that out would work in terms of your license, but it might be worth looking into.
