Just another note. I had a problem yesterday updating Adobe Flash Player .  No 
matter what I did the download kept freezing at 25 per cent .  After beating my 
head against the wall for a couple of days , I  tried temporarily disabling my 
anti -virus program and it finally worked . I noticed you also have to close 
your Safari browser also.
Just wanted to add my two cents in.
