What does that do by option clicking check for update? If you're trying to put another version of I O S on your device, then you need to be option clicking on the restore button, not the check for update button. And, make sure before you do this, that your device is in DFU mode.

Subject: performing an option click on a control?

Hi all,
Has anybody ever been able to make option-click work on a control with voiceover using the trackpad without having to turn off voiceover?
I’m trying to option-click the “check for update” button in iTunes.
Thanks
