Never mind Jonathan, I Googled it, and I found the webinar and have
successfully made my purchase. Thanks, and I look forward to receiving the
download link as soon as you are able.

It is not necessary either to be in DFU mode or to press shift+Space on
Restore in order to install a new iOS beta build. The only time one needs to go
about this is when downgrading from a beta to a previous build. This is all
covered in my Testing Testing audio presentation for those who are interested.
The original poster has it correct, you can just Option-click the Check for
Updates button, which brings up an open file dialog. And as has been said here
by others, shift+Space on that button is a substitutes that works, in both Mac
and Windows.

What does that do by option clicking check for update? If you're trying to
put another version of I O S on your device, then you need to be option
clicking on the restore button, not the check for update button. And, make
sure before you do this, that your device is in DFU mode.

    Hi all,
Has anybody ever been able to make option-click work on a control with
voiceover using the trackpad without having to turn off voiceover?
I’m trying to option-click the “check for update” button in iTunes.
    Thanks
