My iPhone 5 is about 2 and a half years old. I am not even looking
at a new phone until this one starts wearing down. My next phone might
well be a 7 or even an 8. There is noting my 5 cannot do at this time.

Oh ok know what you mean and this is why I personally don't go for the newer
phones and instead wait one or two years when they drop in price but that's
just me.

The new phones have updated hardware including an updated / better fingerprint
censor, better radio chips that support more bands, larger battery, NFC chip as
you mentioned for payment, etc. Each phone is an iteration better. Not really
revolutionary changes but nice hardware upgrades nonetheless. The proposed 6S+
/ 6S is rumored to have a 12 megapixel camera instead of 8, faster Qualcomm
radio chip (more than twice faster on the network), force touch display and
more battery. Small changes but ones that will make the user experience better.

Thank you so how come they are better in the newer phones apart from Apple Pay
support?

Hi Chris,
I personally am a big fan of the iPhones in general. I have a 6+ now but
bought the 5S actually the day it came out. That was one of the advantages of
working for VZW at the time I could cut in line and buy the phone before the
store opened.
The finger print reader is great and even better in the 6+. Enjoy your
new device. They really are good phones.

Hi all the iPhone 5s it's good isn't it? I even have Touch ID set up and
enabled and it really works as far as unlocking my phone goes. Not tried
purchasing from the iTunes or App Stores yet but am confident that will work
too. I also have my favourite Alex voice. Personally, I like the sound of him
on the 5s. I also like the overall volume it can get very loud can't it? I can
hear it with clarity at just 50% volume.
