Hi Donna, Perhaps Anne and others can answer your question more appropriately, as i am not yet living in France. However, as I understand it, VO is only available in English by default, and at the moment, Apple do not include the IPhone languages with VO although I have asked them to for future releases. So I think that non-native speakers and those of us who speak other languages must use third-party software to access the Mac via speech. Users can still use Braille, but they will not have their language's Braille code as Apple only ships VO with American Braille by default.
