Hi there, I guess it's horses for courses. I prefer hitting "alt+1" to navigating through lots of nested frames when I want to read the latest incoming chat message. But, as someone said recently in a wholly unrelated post, one should use the tools one finds most appropriate for a given task. It irritates me so I go back to windows (sadly I'll admit) and a solution that works for me. It doesn't bother you so you use VO. And given that there are two entirely different solutions which suit both of us, all is well with the world. *smile*
