Hi Rob, Yes, I've tried that and it makes no difference. I sent an email to apple accessibility about it, but am beginning to think I need to do a full restore on the phone. One other thing that occurs to me is the speaker is designed for air-play possibility its firmware needs updating. hanks, Jeff
