I opted for the non Pro version. Looking at the choices, I see one
for migrating from Bootcamp. My fingers are crossed. Will do some prep
work before I attempt that.

There again, if all you want is to get a Windows VM up, it hardly matters which
edition you choose. The completist in me is always happy for the extra
flexibility though—things like whether the network adaptor can be promiscuous
or not, or whether the virtualised CPU will have Intel VTX in the guest. It’s
