Hi Ray,
Details as far as the issue you are having and why you are asking eh
question only helps in the matter. I haven’t noticed anything with the way you
post. It’s just that when you have to read through a preamble before you get to
a question that could be asked in one or two sentences and doesn’t require a
back story, well, that frustrates me.

For example, with the issue involved with this subject or initial subject,
it simply could have been posted as, “I prefer using the Fred voice on the Mac
for personal reasons, but I find that the volume of that voice is not
acceptable to my hearing limitations. Does anyone know of a solution that will
increase the volume of the Fred voice without effecting the system sounds or
other sounds on the Mac?”

Everyone has their own writing style. I wasn’t trying to open a can of
worms, but only make a suggestion. Remember that long, drawn out posts probably
will not be responded to by most people because they will end up deleting it
before giving you a chance, and, thus, you don’t get the help you desire from
the list members.
