So, you find them more reliable? No, my current router is N, not AC, and can't 
cover the whole house. More importantly, it doesn't support any form of NAS, 
and I'd rather not buy a wifi hard drive enclosure; it seems like storage would 
be more reliable connected right to the router.

As to Airplay, I hadn't thought of that. Can someone briefly explain what the 
differences are between the Express, Extreme, and any other models I may have 
missed? What, exactly, would Airplay on a router let us do with media playback 
around the house? Why would an Extreme router lack a feature an Express one 
includes?
