OSX is unix under the hood so you could also just install whatever FTP
server package from Linux directly on your OSX. You might need xCode to
compile/install. MacPorts is one good source for linux packages all nice
and bundled to install under osx. This also means you'll be spending
quality time in terminal to do things as is the norm for most linux things.
