Not that this is only for newish iOS devices, not the ones using the 32-pin USB cable. I still have an iPhone 4s I use for testing and it's a big pain to record the screen and audio from there but it is possible with a bunch of external hardware.

Hi!

Just go to make ew video, then, before pressing start recording, go to the pup
up to select the input devices. And in your Camera and microphone, select your
iPad or iPhone, which most be connected.
.
Then, press the button to record at maximum volume, as now, voiceOver will go
out from your headset if it it is connected to your mac, or through your mac
speakers. In that way, you can control what you are doing, and the sound of
VoiceOver, music or anything the comes from your iOs device, will also be
recorded.

Pros the button to start recording, do what ever you wish in your iOS device
and then stop it.

This was quick, but I hope it helps.

Hi all,

Several months ago, there was a thread making the rounds on how to record your
iPad or iPhone screen using Quicktime. For the life of me, I can't find this
by Googling. Does anybody have the thread or the steps necessary to do so?

Tia,
Jeff
