Hello Ray, Sadly, I cannot reproduce your problem. iTunes is letting me login without any problem, even when I follow your steps.
Ray, do you have any vision? Is it possible that there is some kind of dialog box being displayed that VoiceOver is not announcing? Can you log into and out of the iTunes app on your phone?
