No prob on my phone.  An Apple adviser was on with me for an our trying to 
figure this out.  He could see my screen and said there was no dialog.  In 
other words, Voice Over was accurately reporting to me what was going on.  I 
may need to do an OS reinstall if this doesn't work:  but, in the mean time, 
I've sent system files off to Apple tech support and the ingenerring team at 
apple using the special capture files app they have for that purpose.
