Hi, I think everyone is having this problem. I haven't heard of any way around it, but if there is a way to work around this, I'd be glad to hear it. At any rate, though, Apple knows about it. I was hoping it'd been fixed in 10.6.1, since I wrote to them when Snowy had just been released.
