Yeah, I understand. FWIW, I will continue to use 1Password, as long as I can verify its operation. I trust the cryptography and synchronisation in it better than iCloud, but I probably won’t be generating any passwords with it. I’m hopeful that things will get better, based on the continued improvement of the iOS app, but I also agree that their response so far regarding the Mac app has been somewhat tepid. I don’t think they’re bad people, but they’re a business, so you will want to try to get it through to them.
You can get the contents of your logins in CSV format. That won’t get you any other data in your vault, but your logins are probably what you really came to the app for, so use the main 1Password app to export to CSV and verify it’s all there. You could conceivably then maintain this CSV file yourself, for the day 1Password improves, or because it’s just easier like that, although you’ll lose the encryption of the vault. -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
