Hello listers,
I was wondering and had question about my 6S Plus and wanted an input from you
guys and see if anyone else has this issue. So couple weeks ago I got a new
iPhone 6S Plus and during the use I’ve noticed that the phone heats up quite
frequently, even with light use like checking messages or scrolling through
tweets with VoiceOver. I am wondering if this is specifically VoiceOver problem
and if anyone has the same issue. The event that really occurs is when I start
streaming videos that are longer than 2 in a half minutes. I was continuously
streaming videos from my YouTube subscription box and the phone was very hot. I
had 5S previously, and because the phone is doing and processing it’s resources
I would expect a little bit of heat at the back of the phone but haven’t seen
it getting this hot. It was so hot that the phone even displayed temperature
warning. To me, the top right hand side, majority being underneath the camera
seem to be the hottest spot. It’s interesting how the newer phone exposes more
heat and because it’s a bigger phone I thought the heat would dissipate
throughout the phone. Anyone else ran into this issue? If it’s getting frequent
temperature warning I certainly think Apple store might be a trip that I would
have to plan on.
