Ok, At the bottom of the app is a workout button, click this, then you should be able to find the start button I can't remmeeber where on the screen it is but I normally start at the bottom and work up,note though that slightly above the start will be the text saying whether or not your workout has an associated sensor connected, if it doesn't near the top of the app will show you what work out it is currently set at and this will change automatically after a few minutes.
