Hello,
I am running the latest El Capitan under VoiceOver on my late 2008 iMac.

I have a problem that when typing text I sometimes get into upper case by
accidentally pressing the Caps Lock key (instead of the shift key) and then
type half a page before realising the mistake. I then have to re-type which is
very annoying.

I am pretty sure that in the past I had some set up which caused the iMac to
make a noise every time I entered an upper case character. Over time I seem to
have lost these settings and have failed to recreate them. Does anyone know of
such a setting or is there any way to easily change half a page of upper case
text into correct text without retyping it. Or in desperation is there any way
to disable the Caps Lock key.

Many thanks for any tips?.
