Hi, I haven't done an uber trip with multiple stops like you describe but I have done a trip with 1 or 2 stops. If you look at your uber receipt you will notice there is a breakdown of what portion of the trip was the base charge, distance, waiting etc. I have asked uber drivers to wait while I go in to CVS to pick something up. I am told that unless you are going to be more than about 10 or 15 minutes it is actually cheeper to have the driver wait than it is to call a new driver. When I have done that I ask them to keep an eye out for me. When I come out of the store I have a general idea of where they are but then the driver also usually calls out to me.
The way I would probably try doing a multiple destination ride like that is to set the destination to the farthest point and then once the ride is scheduled use the contact driver option to call the driver and explain what you are trying to do. The fair will end up being much different from what is advertised but as long as you are expecting a higher price then I guess it would be OK. I hope that helps.
