I just performed a clean install of Sierra on my MacBook air, and the first
thing I did was to Google, "how to do a clean install of Mac sierra". That
brought up a bunch of how to's, and though they are not full fledge documents,
they do give a step-by-step procedure for backing up, erasing the disk,
reinstalling The operating system and so forth.
It is all really quite straightforward, except for when erasing the hard disk
where you need to be careful to a race only the partition where the Mack OS is
installed. That volume is usually called "Mac HD", And you need to select that
in the table of volumes before executing the erase feature.
If you're not going to do a clean install of Sierra, that is, if you're just
going to install Sierra over the top of the existing OS, then it is even
easier. First you need to download the Sierra OS from the App Store, and when
it downloads it will begin executing the installation for you. Simply follow
the prompts and be patient for it may take a while to install.
If at any point you lose VoiceOver speech, simply do a command at five to turn
it back on. Sent from my IPhone
