To add even more confusion to this, I’m using Samsung flat screens as well, so we have the same brand television. Do you get a loss of audio from the flat screens internal speakers or just to the sound bar itself? You might have some sort of sleep setting where the sound bar goes in to a powered down state and wakes up only when it receives signal, that might need to be disabled in the sound bars internal menu.
