I'm a little confused about the locked versus unlocked business. I plan to buy
the phone at the Apple store and they say it will come with a Verizon Sim card
in it, and they will be able to set up the Verizon account and port my number
over to the new phone. Am I limiting my options by buying through the Apple
store, or should I just buy as you call it the "unlocked" version of the phone
and walk down the mall to the Verizon store to have it set up for me? Would it
not be a simple matter of swapping out the Verizon Sim and inserting an AT&T or
T-Mobile Sim in the phone in order to switch carriers again? Or, with this
phone from the Apple Store with the Verizon Sim card be somehow hardware locked
to only the Verizon network?
