Actually, I was talking about data caps, not data speeds. NZ has faster data 
speeds, at least in its larger cities, compared with Australia. Both NZ and Aus 
are significantly slower than the US.

Worse, though, unless one spends significantly (like I am with my new mobile 
plan), land-based data is capped. My NZ data is capped at 80 GB for my 
apartment. In Aus, the house data is capped at 200 GB. My mom's house, in 
Phoenix, on the other hand, does not have any data cap.

Oh, by the way, my iPhone lists 4G both in NZ and Aus, whilst I am in urban 
areas. I use GSM networks.
