I've never taken screenshots on the Mac but did so just now and was
asked if I wanted to save it to Dropbox which I did.
Another option is to use Grab which is in the Utilities folder. You
will find commands on the menu bar when Grab is launched.

You don’t have permission to save files
in the location where screen shots are stored.
It would be nice to copy the error windows to the clipboard. Iam confused about
the above error. I have no idea what directory(s) to check.
