Interesting because it did work but perhaps not in Sierra, I don't
remember when I last used it. It does work in High Sierra.

In case someone may already have a solution, the issue occurs when one needs
to sign into Dropbox on the Mac. Both the email address and password fields are
totally silent, no typing feedback of any kind. Voiceover speaks the rest of
the dialog just fine.
