Hi,

By any chance, did you backup your previous phone before getting rid of it? You
can do a restore from the backup to the IPhone 10. It sounds like you’ve
already set the new phone up, but I know that when I did the setup on mine,
there is a point during setup where if you just hold the old phone next to the
new phone it copies over all or at least most of your settings. Of course this
requires that you still have the older phone.

Good luck.

Eileen

Subject: I have stepped into the future and have a question

Hi i’ve got an iPhone X that i purchased today. I have just set it up and now i
wonder, is there a way to get all my old settings back without having to start
from the beginning again with setting up the iPhone? I want my apps, favorites
and contacts and so on back.
I know this is a typical ”i should know this” question but i can for the life
of me not remember how to get things back to the way it was on my iPhone 7
plus. Can someone please help?
Thanks,
/Krister
