Hi, I'd just restart the computer and do some other things on your computer after the restart. Don't look at the Google Drive Backup & Sync status or anything related to it for about five minutes after restart. After this time, press VO-m-m to go up to the Menu Extras, then VO navigate to the Backup & Sync menu, VO-space to activate the menu. Tab around in there. If there's a More Options item, arrow down when you're focused on it to go to Preferences. Make sure everything is set the way you like it then press OK. Do not Quit it, if you need to get out of the dialog, and can't find an OK button, try pressing cmd-tab to take you t the Finder. The dialog should disappear on its own if there's no "OK" or "Cancel", or "close" buttons available.
