you can now select all the tracks on the album and go to the File menu. Go down

After the conversion, you’ll have two of each track.
Go to the Finder and open your iTunes library.
Find the album and sort the folder according to Type. All your MP3 versions
will be together. Select them all and copy them. Create a new folder somewhere
else such as in Documents and paste them there.
You’ll need to delete the unwanted versions from within iTunes or iTunes will
get very upset!
I did this very recently with purchased music.
