Hi Anne,

yeah, the Acadians have a unique version of French.  Overall, the regional 
french speaking Canadians often have negative feelings towards other regional 
speakers.  The Quebecois claim that they can't understand Acadian French or 
Western Canadian French, even though they all evolved from the same roots.  I 
appreciate your wording as "interesting" as opposed to less understanding 
adjectives.
