Hi Petrus, If you press Command Shift and c you will get the computer section of finder, Under that you will most likely see your drives or volumes. If you don’t see them there look in disk utilities to see what is connected and possibly requiring a name of the volume.

I plugged in the memory stick and navigated to the finder and couldn’t find the drive, but it still told me to eject it correctly. But but when I pressed command E it said New selection defined, or something like that. I’m guessing that was because I didn’t have the drive selected. If you navigate to the finder, the drive will be there. It is good computer management practice to always safely eject a drive when you are finished with it.
