I found the pro I had great,
That's an 11" with smart keyboard etc,
I never connected to a 1TB drive But I did connect to my network drive to view
a movie and that worked fine.
The air I viewed as being just a slightly larger screen size which now takes a
smart keyboard folio and first gen pencil,
But doesn't have the quad speakers
Face ID
The other thing to think about though is if your liking the iPad mini 4
Then the iPad mini 5 has features of the pro / air but just in the smaller
profile.
Th eonly thing I'm not happy about with the mini 5 is I can't find a good
quality keyboard folio
I'd love to see apple produce a pro mini version
Or at least a mini with the folio keyboard and face id.
