Money is always a force that drives decision making. My mini 4 has a
Zqgg folio. The iPad slips into a magnetic hinge, makes it easy to
remove it so it is easy to work with. The keyboard is small of course
but I imagine one could use it in a pinch.

Depending on how much you are looking to pay is also the question.
Your prices are a lot better than ours of course,
I'm trying to sell my iPad Pro to save some space and money but I also have an
iPad mini 5 and I do like it although I have to use a Magic wireless keyboard
or my Logitech keyboard with it,
I'd prefer a folio keyboard for my mini 5 so it was protected as well as easy
to cary around with no excess size.
Good luck.

Simon,
I like the mini 4 only because it is the only iPad I have used, except for
the mini 3. Just took a quick look at specs and prices. The mini 5 might do
well. I'm getring used to the BT keyboard which can connect to up to 3 devices.
And there is iCloud Drive so all devices can share.
Given the difference in cost between Pro and mini, I can live with the
mini. I don't know what chip the mini 4 has but my iPhone 8 has it beat. :) Ok
found the chip. Yes the mini 5 will almost match the iPhone 8. Close enough.
Thanks Simon. Appreciate the overview.

I found the pro I had great,
That's an 11" with smart keyboard etc,
I never connected to a 1TB drive But I did connect to my network drive to view
a movie and that worked fine.
The air I viewed as being just a slightly larger screen size which now
takes a smart keyboard folio and first gen pencil, But doesn't have
the quad speakers Face ID
The other thing to think about though is if your liking the iPad mini
4 Then the iPad mini 5 has features of the pro / air but just in the smaller
profile.
Th eonly thing I'm not happy about with the mini 5 is I can't find a
good quality keyboard folio I'd love to see apple produce a pro mini
version Or at least a mini with the folio keyboard and face id.
Good luck.

I've an iPad mini 4. Been spending more time with it lately and am
curious to know the advantages of the Air as well as the Pro models.
One aspect of the Pro is ability to connect external drives. Any
limitations on what the Pro can access? Like a 1tb plus iTunes library?
Thanks.
