Above I should have spelled simon in Unicode Braille. If you read by character, VOiceOver will read all the dots in each cell. Forgive me for forgetting the initial dot-6. In NVDA and JAWS, these characters are currently ignored by speech, but are displayed on a Braille display. VoiceOver should also be showing the cells. This is quite useful on webpages, where you don't want Braille to be be modified by the Screen Reader based on translations.
