Tim, According to the Mac World article, referenced in the link below, the recovery keyboard command, COMMAND + OPTION + R, allows for the installation of the latest version of macOS. The Recovery keyboard command, COMMAND + OPTION + SHIFT +R, allows for the installation of the version of macOS that came installed on a Mac, if available. If that version is not available, then the next oldest available version is installed. Is this not correct??
