Hello Tim, Many thanks for your reply. Contacts are set on in iCloud on my iPhone but the contact I cannot delete is not synced. Other contacts are synced. Possibly significant is that this is a 10 year old contact which has been migrated over 3 iPhones and numerous levels of IOS. I want to delete it as the person died some time ago. Could I do anything useful with a bluetooth keyboard? Many thanks for your many helpful contributions to macvisionaries…. Paul Hopewell
