Hi Paul, Whether using a keyboard or the touch screen is immaterial, so that likely wouldn't help. I suggest that you turn off iCloud syncing on the iPhone, and when it asks you if you wish to keep the contacts or remove them from this iPhone, remove them. This will not affect your contacts as they will still remain in iCloud, just be deleted from the iPhone. After this has completed, you should either have no contacts at all on the iPhone, or just that one persistent little fart. If it remained on your iPhone, try deleting it now that things are not syncing and it may be more cooperative. After deleting, back out of Contacts, then restart your iPhone. Open the Contacts app and see if it returns or if we had luck this time. If it is gone, then you can go back into Settings, iCloud and turn on the syncing of iCloud Contacts. This should bring back all your iCloud contacts and life should be good. Let me know if you have success.
