Hello Cliff,

Thank you for your reply but your instructions do not work in the latest
release of Apple TV OS; at least, they do not on my device.

In the latest release, it is not possible to switch between navigation styles
via the rotor as it was before the latest release.

As I said in my previous post, the only place where one can select the
navigation style is Settings > Accessibility > Navigation.

I hope I am wrong about this. If so, please provide step-by-step instructions
on how to switch between navigation styles on the fly.

Mark

Subject: Re: Help, Cannot Reliably Close Apps on Apple TV After Latest Update

Well, apple has assumed that everyone that uses VoiceOver uses direct touch. I
know I have never had an issue with it. Anyway, if you insist using follow
focus, the thing you will have to do when you want to swipe up, is put the
remote in navigation mode. To do this triple tap with 2 fingers on the track
pad area of the remote. Once you do this VoiceOver should say navigation mode.
Then turn it to direct touch, and swipe up, repeat the steps to turn it off.
