Hi Donna, I appreciate your response. Thank you. So it's not my machine! The odd thing is that sometimes Mail closes as it should, other times, it does not. Kate from this list indicated the same thing. I wonder why Apple has not fixed this one. I think I'll write Apple Accessibility about this. Thanks again. Your assistance is always appreciated.
