First, no need to apologize. You did care, so you replied to my thread and
tried to help me.

I’m mad with the idea itself, that navigating through arrow keys is very good
for productivity and not good for durability of the keyboard which we use
almost for everything.

If it is a trade off to make, I do accept it, but I hope there will be solution
that is easy to apply.

Something else that makes me mad is that I’m using 2016 15” MBP that uses
butterfly mechanism. This mechanism will be supported for a couple of years to
come, I don’t remember how much exactly, but can be replaced nowadays.

The reason for mentioning NVDA on windows, that it does not rely on right and
left arrow keys as Voiceover on Mac. Or so was my usage.

What is the point for me to spend 9K EGP for a keyboard replacement that will
prevent me from using my MBP for whatever period of time and I use my MBP in my
work?!

I replaced my keyboard before in early 2019 and I was having problems in my
university since it took around 6 weeks for Apple authorized service provider
to replace the keyboard. Now, I use it for my work, so I can’t live without it
more than a single day in the weekend.

Plus, this keyboard will fail most probably after 2 and half years, when most
likely I won’t be able to get replacement for it. And of course, getting a
couple of keyboards and keep them with me may not be a good idea because of the
price mainly. Getting a Mac mini seams a better and cheaper option and it is
easier to replace its keyboard.

I hope my point is clear now.

I’m sorry I didn’t mean to attack you in any way. I’m just mad of these
mentioned points above.

Thank you so much for understanding,

Regards,

Mohamed E. Fayed
