Actually Tim, what I said was that the current MacBook Eyre is only available with an M1 processor. I made no mention of the MacBook Pro line.

The M1 Macs run just great with 8 Gb of RAM and due to the workings of the processor and bus speeds, 8 Gb does great for most tasks. Even those more intensive tasks like rendering graphics and video.
