I apologize for being part of the confusion here. I can’t keep up with all the mac models and didn’t realize that the Pro line still had Intel chips.
However, the technical details are not what is important here. The important thing here is to consider why a person wants a Mac and what they are going to do with it. Is the Mac the I right option or would an iPad work just as well. I wanted a Mac so I could eventually learn to code and also play with Swift Playgrounds. I love the Mac’s consistent user interface, but I wish more apps from IOS could work on the machine and had high hopes for the catalyst project.
