Hi,

Too many interactions is a matter of opinion, and a misconception from my
prospective. Using the interaction model can often make your navigation much
quicker than without if you use it properly. Think of it like looking for your
friend’s kitchen in a town. When the interaction model is being used, the town
is considered a group of items, the houses within the town are also independent
groups of items within the town, and there are rooms and more within each house
that are grouped and so on. So, for example, you come to the town, and there’s
all these houses. You can go past all the houses that you know are not your
friend’s house because there’s no need to interact with those houses. You
arrive at the correct address of your friend’s house, then interact with only
his house. Once inside his house, you can move through the rooms quickly
finding the kitchen. You did not need to bother yourself with any other
house, because it did not belong to your friend. Very quick navigation if used
correctly, and if you understand the premise behind the model.

Later…
