It is useful for example in case you want to use a single hand to do a difficult keystrokes. If you press whatever modifier key (ctrl, shift, option or alt, or command, you don’t need to hold the button beside the other letter keys. You can just press them once and continue your shortcut . But that’s not actually what sticky keys are. Sticky keys or away for a key press to be held electronically down longer to allow you to move your finger to another place and make a combination keystroke without having to actually hold both keys down at the same time.
