Hi, A couple things of note. You’ve said that you’re running a Mac mini. YOu’ve also mentioned that you have a 1 TB drive in it.
• is this a spinning HD or an SSD? A spinning HD is likely a 5400 RPM drive which has rather slow disk access for today’s MacOS. This can result in the “busy”, or “not responding” announcements. • how much RAM in the Mini? Anything less than 8 GB will get this sort of response quite often. Especially if you’re running with a spinner. • what model year of Min is it? The older Minis, although they will run Monterey, do not run it particularly fast and will often result in these sorts of announcements. • an anti-virus app constantly running in the background will definitely negatively affect performance of a Mac mini. Depending on your answers to these items, will help to explain whether these announcements are normal, or that there’s something amiss with your Mac.
