Hello. I had a drive or two that I thought were causing problems in the Finder on my M1 Mac mini. Drives were getting burned up and just not functioning right. I got rid of the hub. Unfortunately, though, I am now having problems with drives no matter how they are connected. Is the Finder just not stable on these Macs? I even plugged a little thumb drive into the USB port on my Apple keyboard. I tried several times to copy some files and the drive disappears. I expect it to be slow, but not to disappear.
Is this a known problem? Do I need to take this Mac to the Apple Store? Thanks for any insights into this growing problem. -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
