Hi.  What I do is use mac the ripper to extract the title I want from the dvd.  
You can make mac the ripper extract a title as a single vob file.  I can then 
open that file in mpeg stream clip.  By default it saves the audio to an aiff 
file, but I think you can also have it use quicktime to save to a supported 
quicktime audio format.
